Elizabeth Woolridge Grant
(born June 21, 1986), better known by her stage name Lana Del Rey, is an American singer-songwriter. Del Rey initially began performing in clubs in New York City at age 18, and signed her first recording contract when she was 21 years old with 5 Points Records, releasing her first digital album Lana Del Ray A.K.A. Lizzy Grant in January 2010. I listened to a song of her 2 weeks ago and immediately liked her. Her voice and her lyrics are amazing. The best thing that caught my attention was watching her videos, made by herself, with some old clips on the internet she gathered and she recorded a video of herself singing her song with a webcam. Those were low budget videos, edited by Lana herself. My favorite songs are 'Videogames', 'Born to die', 'Kinda outta luck' (which reminded me of the song called 'chick habbit' that appears on the credits of 'Death Proof' by Quentin Tarantino), 'Kill Kill', 'Put me in a movie', 'Mermaid Motel' etc, etc. Her music is amazing so I recommend it to you.
